You work directly with the principal designer throughout the process, allowing for a high level of attention, care, and continuity. For homeowners who are not looking for full-service design, our In-Home Design Plan offers a focused, in-home session to create a clear plan and direction for your space. Why full-service? Designing and renovating older homes involves many moving parts. Our full-service model allows us to guide decisions, coordinate details, and carry the vision through — so your home feels intentional, finished, and easy to live in.

Once clients sign on to work with us, we follow a clear, six-phase approach: Project Kick-Off – We align on goals, scope, timeline, and overall direction Concept Design – We develop the foundational vision, including layout, space planning, and overall aesthetic direction Product Selection – We source and present furnishings, materials, and finishes that support the design plan Procurement – We order, track, and manage all design elements Project Management – We coordinate with trades, timelines, and implementation Installation & Styling – Final placement, styling, and finishing touches This structured process allows us to guide each phase with intention, ensuring your home feels cohesive, considered, and complete.

Hyper-local means our work is deeply rooted in South Minneapolis and the surrounding neighborhoods. We understand the architecture, materials, and quirks of older homes here, and we collaborate regularly with trusted local trades. Because we work close to home, we’re able to be on site as frequently as needed — meeting with trades, overseeing work, and staying hands-on throughout the process. This proximity allows for better communication, continuity, and thoughtful decision-making from start to finish. While we work primarily in South Minneapolis and select nearby areas, we occasionally take on projects outside South Minneapolis when the scope and fit are right for both parties. Yes. We regularly collaborate with our clients’ contractors, architects, and trades throughout the design process. We’re also happy to recommend general contractors and trades we know, trust, and have established working relationships with. Older homes require thoughtful coordination between design and construction. We work closely with contractors to communicate design intent, answer questions as they arise, and help ensure selections and details are implemented as planned.

Every project is different, but typical ranges include: In-Home Design Plan $850 for a 90-minute in-home session with follow-up notes and recommendations Full-Service Furnishings Design fees: begin at $6,500 per room (2-room minimum) Furnishings investment: most clients invest $25,000 per room or more in furnishings Kitchen & Bath Remodels Design fees begin at $12,500 Construction budgets vary by scope Whole-Home Projects Design fees are based on project scope and size; please inquire to learn more Typical furnishings investment: $80,000–$200,000+ We’ll talk through what’s realistic for your home during the Inquiry Call.
