1 / Why should I hire a Designer instead of doing it myself?

I combine those ideas and aspirations with your family's needs and wants to complete that project so you can enjoy your home to its fullest.
2 / What does the Design process look like?
I have carefully crafted 6-step process that guarantees our families a stress-free, enjoyable experience that gets your project done. When you book your free Discovery Call, you can hear more, but the outline of the process is as follows: 1.In-home kick-off 2.Concept Design 3.Product Selection 4.Order and Delivery 5.Install 6.Families enjoying their home to its fullest!
3 / What is Leah responsible for?
I am fully responsible for each of the 6 steps in our design process. Additionally, I am your project manager who will own everything needed to complete your project. Project management includes scheduling meetings, managing communication, bringing in trades, designing every detail, complete order management, and more. Not to mention managing any and all surprises that can come up during home projects.
4 / What are the families responsible for?
You are essential to the process by providing your ideas, images, style, and inspiration right at the project kick-off. Along the way, your feedback and approval are integral! You don't need to shop, pin, screenshot, or scroll for ideas and products. Take your time back to do what you want to do.
5 / What if I want to change some things along the way?
No problem! You will receive a complete design presentation at Concept Design and Product Selection. Should you want to make some tweaks or swaps, that is totally welcome. Our contract allows for one revision at each of those steps; afterward, there are additional fees for incremental changes.
6 / How much should I plan on investing?
Design fees for each project vary and are priced based on the project scope, deliverables, etc. We bill a flat fee, which is given to homeowners in a detailed proposal after an in-home consultation. If you need help determining how much to budget, we can discuss that during your Discovery Call to help you plan your investment.
7 / Do you take out-of-state projects?
Yes, I have managed many out-of-state projects, including everything from furnishings to multi-room renovations. You will still receive our full 6-step design service with all the exact deliverables and touchpoints. We'll do more of it virtually!
